At Wetroo, we prioritize transparency and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and platform-specific terms when handling client data. Our policy is as follows:
1. Data Processing and Ownership
We sync leads from client ad lead forms directly into their respective dashboards on our platform. Clients have full ownership of their data, and we do not retain, modify, or claim any rights over their data. It is solely their property.
2. Public Privacy Policy
Our publicly available privacy policy complies with all applicable laws and regulations. It clearly explains:
- The data we sync on behalf of clients,
- The process of syncing data,
- The purpose of data syncing, and
- How clients can delete their data from their dashboard without hassle.
3. Client-Controlled Data Deletion
Clients have complete control over their data and can delete it directly from their lead management panel at any time.
4. Compliance and Transparency
We process data strictly as described in our privacy policy, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and platform-specific terms. We do not access, use, or store client data beyond syncing it to their dashboards.
5. Policy Consistency
Our privacy policy aligns with the terms and policies of integrated platforms and does not supersede, modify, or conflict with them.
6. Information we collect
When creating an account, you will be asked to enter a phone number and email address. Phone number & email are only used for logging in, responding to queries that you initiate, and notifications that you request. We don’t send promotional emails.
We store information about your clients and activities they make on the content you share with them. We also collect anonymous statistics about usage of the product that helps us improve the product.
7. Technical basics
If you enable notifications, we must store a token to send them. We never use notifications for marketing.
If you upload files to Wetroo, we need to store them until you delete them.
We use cookies on the site and similar tokens in the app to keep you logged in. Our server software may also store basic technical information, such as your IP address, in memory or logs.
8. Analytics
Wetroo’s app collects aggregate, anonymous statistics, such as the percentage of users who use particular features, to improve the app.
9. Information usage
We use the information we collect to operate and improve our website, apps, and customer support.
We utilize the "Wetroo App" for Facebook App Login Integration, enabling users to log in to wetroo.com using their Facebook credentials.
We do not share personal information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to accomplish Wetroo’s functionality, such as sending your contact information to your clients.
We may disclose your information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property.
10. Security
We implement a variety of security measures to help keep your information secure. For instance, all communication with the app and website requires HTTPS with certificate pinning. Passwords are hashed, not stored, using industry-standard methods (currently bcrypt).
11. Third-party links and content
Wetroo displays links and content from external sources. These have their own independent privacy policies, and we have no responsibility or liability for their content or activities.
12. International Transfers of Information
Information may be processed, stored, and used outside of the country in which you are located. Data privacy laws vary across jurisdictions, and different laws may be applicable to your data depending on where it is processed, stored, or used.
13. Data collected from Google API Services
(App’s) use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
14. Account and Lead Data Deletion Policy (Web & Mobile App)
To permanently delete your account's collected lead details or personal data, follow these steps:
- Log in to your dashboard.
- Navigate to Lead Manager > Contacts.
- Click on the three dots in the top-right corner.
- Select the option "Delete All Leads".
- Confirm the deletion.
Web and Mobile App users can follow the same steps to delete the collected leads from wetroo platform.
Once confirmed, your data will be permanently erased from the system. This action cannot be undone, and you will no longer have access to the deleted data, including related activities, reminders, or automation actions.
